Cookie Policy

Necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics stays off until you allow it, and you can change your mind at any time.

How we handle cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are always on: without them sign-in and the free-check counter cannot work. They are not used to profile you.

Analytics is optional. Nothing analytics-related is stored until you press Allow in the cookie banner. Until then Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode and receives only anonymous, cookieless signals.

We use no advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels, no social widgets and no cross-site tracking. Fonts are self-hosted, so opening the page does not call a font CDN.

Change your choice at any time: Cookie settings in the footer.

Strictly necessary

• ld_session: keeps you signed in after Google login. 30 days. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax.

• ld_oauth_state, ld_rt, ld_mk: 10 minutes, only during the Google login flow: protect the request, remember where to return you, and carry your newsletter choice.

• ld_free: signed counter of free checks already used, so the free tier works without an account. Up to 1 year.

• ld_site: the single domain an anonymous visitor is allowed to check. Up to 1 year.

• ld_p2: marks that the account features are active in this browser. Up to 1 year.

• leidur_consent: stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. Holds your analytics choice so the banner does not ask again.

Analytics, only with consent

• _ga and _ga_HE281EX5T2: Google Analytics 4. They count visits and pages viewed, with approximate region, browser and device type. Up to 2 years. IP addresses are anonymized and the data is kept for 14 months.

We do not link analytics data to your account, and we do not send it to advertising products.

Turning things off

Cookie settings in the footer reopens the panel: allow or decline analytics with one click. Declining removes the analytics cookies from further use immediately.

Your browser can also block or clear cookies for leidur.com. Necessary cookies are the only ones that matter for the site to work, so clearing them just signs you out and resets the free-check counter.
